TV industry research conference will release color energy efficiency level index

On July 19, the Energy Efficiency Label Management Center of China National Institute of Standardization will jointly publish the color energy efficiency index with Ovid Consulting in the second quarter of 2012 on the economic operation of China's electronic information industry and the color TV industry research conference.

Zhang Yanbin, dean of the Avio Consulting Home Appliances Research Institute, believes that the energy efficiency of home appliances is unpredictable and difficult for the industry to grasp. Consumers are even less capable. The main reason is that the household appliance industry lacks indicators that intuitively reflect the energy conservation status of the product, as a reference for the industry to understand the level of product energy saving and consumers purchase products.

It is understood that the so-called energy efficiency level index is based on the monitoring data of authoritative independent third-party market monitoring agencies on products. Under the leadership of the government-authorized energy efficiency management department, the industry is integrated with each energy efficiency grade product and each energy efficiency grade product. Sales value, sales volume of all energy efficiency grade products, and average energy efficiency index value of all levels of energy efficiency products are objectively and scientifically derived variable values. As China's home appliance market already has a very mature market and management system, the formulation and release of energy efficiency index will come to fruition.

The energy efficiency level index is a value that objectively reflects the trend of energy conservation in the industry. With reference to the energy efficiency level index, people can relatively intuitively understand the energy-saving status of the product in the entire industry. As a result, consumers can more easily purchase energy-saving products, industry professionals can clearly see the direction of product development, and managers can easily grasp the level of energy-saving products. In layman's terms, the energy-saving index is a measure of the energy-saving level of products in the industry, which is conducive to the further improvement of the energy-saving level of household appliances.
