Matte film: touch screen operation feel best, but the light transmission is not ideal.
Attach the two films to a smooth acrylic plate and observe their reflective effect in the plane. As can be seen in the figure, the detail of the shadow effect caused by the object on the high-penetration film and the frosted film, the two films are completely different. The edges of the shadows on the high-permeability film are clear and substantially solid; while the shadowed edges on the frosted film are substantially broken.
Let's look at the effect of two films attached to the phone at the same time. The left side is a high-penetration film and the right one is a frosted film. It can be seen that the shape of the light source can be basically resolved on the high-penetration film; only a large part of the frosted film can be seen to be increased. The diffuse reflection characteristics of the matte film determine that it can resist glare, and the high permeability film does not have such a function.
The effect on the display:
The two films are pasted on the screen of the mobile phone, and the digital SLR is used to photograph the screen. Intercept the image at the same position on the screen for comparison. It can be seen that there is almost no difference between the screen display effect after applying the high-permeability film and the display effect before the film is not applied; the display effect after the application of the frosted film is slightly blurred, and the matte texture surface not only resists the foreign. Glare also scatters the light emitted from the screen, but because the screen is very close to the protective film, the effect is still quite slight.
The front of the high-penetration film is a smooth plane, and the touch is usually similar to the screen. In fact, due to the difference in the protective film substrate, even if the same is a high-permeability film, the feel of different materials is still very different.
Many people think that the matte surface must be very rough to the touch, in fact, the frosted film only has a little more resistance than the high permeability film. It feels a bit more refreshing and won't be a drag on water. The reason why most users choose the sanding film is because of its "point resistance" feel, which is another operation experience.
High-transparent protective film has the advantage of high transmittance, the protective film surface is smooth, smooth and smooth feel. However, it is easy to leave fingerprints, and it is difficult to clean up once it has been fingerprinted.
Frosted protective film, as the name suggests, the surface is frosted texture, the advantage is to effectively resist fingerprint invasion, easy to clean. It has slight influence on the display effect, unique touch, and gives the user a different operation experience.
