Price butcher under the killer: Shenzhou Ultrabook official debut

Previously, notebook makers, especially Acer executives, repeatedly stated that the price of an Ultrabook could be as low as US$500 within a year. For Shenzhou, known as the "price butcher," it is really too long for a year. Today's Shenzhou official mall officially launched the previously announced Ultrabook - Flying U43 D1 and Flying U45 D1, using Intel ultra low voltage processor and solid state hard drive, in line with Ultrabook requirements specification.

The two Shenzhou Ultrabooks use the same mold. The only difference lies in the CPU and the hard disk: the Flying U43 D1 uses a Core i3-2367M+120GB SSD, and the Flying U45 D1 uses a Core i5-2467M+160GB SSD. In terms of capacity, Shenzhou seems to be a SandForce master SSD that uses SATA instead of the mSATA interface. In the rest of the configuration, the memory of both devices is 4GB in size, but there is only one slot. In addition, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Gigabit Ethernet cards are integrated, and a 7800mAh lithium polymer battery is built in. Both screens are also the same type of 14.0-inch LED backlight with a resolution of 1366*768 and 1.3 million HD cameras.

The overall size of the Shenzhou Flying U43 D1/Flying U45 D1 is 333*229.5*19mm and weighs 1.7kg. At present, the official mall is in the limited sale, the price of Flying U43 D1 is 3999 yuan, Flying U45 D1 is 4999 yuan. The author's little hope is that Shenzhou can launch an evolutionary version carrying the Ivy Bridge in the middle of the year.
